The Classical Theatre of Harlem presents Will Power’s MEMNON, the East-Coast Premiere

An exhilarating new epic resurrects the story of Memnon, the Ethiopian king and demigod who rides to Troy’s defense, through Will Power’s rhythmic verse, pulse-quickening choreography and music. Fresh from a celebrated debut at the Getty Villa, MEMNON re-imagines a lost chapter of the Trojan War.

The Classical Theatre of Harlem is a non-profit, professional company that for over two decades brings our audiences excellence through Black artistry. We play to over 20,000 people annually, and reach over 500,000 households with our new digital content. Our mission is to maintain a professional theatre company dedicated to returning the classics to the stages of Harlem; to create employment and educational outreach opportunities in the theatre arts; to create and nurture a new, young, and culturally diverse audience for the classics; and to heighten the awareness of theatre and of great art in Harlem.
